Sayville is a hamlet in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Located on the South Shore of Long Island in the Township of Islip. Sayville has a total area of 5.4 square miles (13.9 km2). 5.3 square miles (13.7 km2) of it is land and 0.077 square miles (0.2 km2) of it is water.

The community borders the Great South Bay. To the east is West Sayville, Bohemia to the north, and Bayport to the east. Montauk Highway passes through the hamlet. From the west boundary, it travels towards the northeast, passing through the hamlet’s other main roads such as Cherry Ave, Railroad Ave, Lincoln Ave and Middle Road. The Sayville Train Station of Long Island Rail Road Montauk Branch is on Railroad Ave. The Sunrise Highway forms a natural border between Sayville and Bohemia. Montauk Highway serves as the main commercial road.

Sayville is teeming with parks, preserves, and other attractions including Brookside County Park, West Sayville National Wildlife Refuge, Sayville Historical park, Islip Grange Park, The Common Ground at Rotary Park, Meadow Croft Park, Sayville Marina Park, Sayville Bathing Beach. Restaurants along the Montauk Highway from west to east respectively are The Shabby Tabby Cat Cafe, La Tavola, SoBol, Cafe Joelle, TOA Asian Fusion, and Sayville Falls Mini Golf. Lincoln Avenue Elementary School serves the hamlet including Sayville Middle School, Sunrise Drive Elementary School, Leeway School Inc, Lincoln Avenue Elementary School, and Sayville High School. Sayville Library is at 88 Greene Ave.

Sayville is served by Long Island Rail Road. The Sayville train station is located at Depot Street, a little west of Railroad Avenue.
