Jamesport Suffolk

Jamesport is a census-designated place (CDP) and hamlet in the Town of Riverhead in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The CDP has a total area of 4.5 square miles (11.7 km2), of which 4.5 square miles (11.6 km2) is land and 0.039 square miles (0.1 km2) is water.

Northville borders Jamesport to the north, the Peconic River to the south, Aquebogue to the west, and Laurel to the east. Main Road serves the hamlet as the main thoroughfare, bisecting the hamlet west-east. Peconic Bay Boulevard runs along the Peconic River. Residential streets connected to the Main Road are Aldrich Lane, Herricks Lane, and Manor Lane. From the Main Road then south to S James Port Avenue then west of Peconic Bay Boulevard then Town Beach Boulevard leads to South Jamesport Beach and South Jamesport Park.

Jamesport is home to plenty of vineyards and winery including Jamesport Vineyards/Little Oak Wood Fired Kitchen, Jason’s Vineyard, Terra Vite North Fork Winery & Vineyard, and Clovis Point Vineyard & Winery; Farms and nurseries such as Norman Keil Nurseries, Shade Trees Nursery, Shade Trees Nursery, Gabrielsen’s Country Farms, Woodside Orchards – Jamesport, North Fork Nursery, Whitman Nurseries Inc, and The Little Red Barn. Jamesport Manor Inn is on Manor Lane across The Little Red Barn.
