Cambria Heights Queens

Cambria Heights is a residential neighborhood in the southeastern portion of the New York City borough of Queens. Springfield Boulevard and Francis Lewis Boulevard form its western boundary, Elmont and Nassau County borders form its eastern boundary, Queens Village forms its northern border, St. Albans forms its western border, and Montefiore Cemetery, Springfield Gardens, and Rosedale forms its southern border.

Cross Island Parkway bounds the Cambria Heights to the east and is one of the main roads serving the neighborhood. It intersects with Belt Parkway and Southern State Parkway at the southeastern border. The commercial strip stretches on Lindel Boulevard between Springfield Boulevard and Cross Island Parkway. The 115th Avenue turns into Dutch Broadway to the east as it passes Cross Island Parkway. Springfield Boulevard partially passes through the neighborhood in the northwestern part of the area.

A high number of Christian churches can be found in Cambria Heights. Storefront churches of all denominations and nondenominational groups can be found along Linden Boulevard. Among the churches in Cambria Heights are the Cambria Heights Community Church, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Holy Trinity Parish Church, Queens Tabernacle Church, Harvest Revival Christian Fellowship, Good Life Deliverance Ministry, Saint David’s Episcopal Church, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Catholic parish has an affiliated school. Sacred Heart Catholic Academy. Ohel Chabad Lubavitch is also located in Cambria Heights.

Laurelton West Playground at 119-99 238th Street and Cabbell Park at Francis Lewis Blvd are the lone two parks within Cambria Heights just 1.5 kilometers away from one another and can both be accessed by 120th Avenue. East Springfield Playground can be accessed by 115th Avenue then south to 218th Street.

Among the bus lines serving the neighborhood are the Q4, Q27, Q77, Q83, and Q84 local buses that connect to the New York City Subway and other bus routes in Queens, as well as the X64 express bus.
