Bohemia /boʊhiːmiːə/ is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Located on the South Shore of Long Island in the Town of Islip, it is approximately 50 miles from New York City. A total of 8.8 square miles (23 km2) are within the hamlet, of which 8.7 square miles (23 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) is water.

Bohemia is bordered by Central Islip and Great River to the west; Islandia, Ronkonkoma and Lake Ronkonkoma to the north; Holbrook to the east; and Oakdale, Sayville, West Sayville, and Bayport to the south. New York State Route 454 (Veterans Memorials Highway) and New York State Route 27 (Sunrise Highway) form a natural border at the north and south boundary of the hamlet respectively.

Bohemia is near the Oakdale and Ronkonkoma stations of the Long Island Rail Road. Long Island MacArthur Airport is partially located in Bohemia (along with the bordering town of Ronkonkoma, New York). The town is a short drive from the Sayville Ferry Service of the Fire Island National Seashore. The main school district in the town is the Connetquot School District. Connetquot River State Park is also located in Bohemia. Hotels within the CDC include The Lakeland Inn, Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport, Rodeway Inn Macarthur Airport, Mac Arthur Inn, and La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Islip – MacArthur Airport. Another notable landmark is the Bohemia Historical Society Museum located at 1519 Locust Ave.

The Connetquot River State Park Preserve with Oakdale occupies a portion on the western border of Bohemia.
