Bethpage (formerly known as Central Park) is a hamlet and census-designated place located within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. It has a total land area of 3.6 square miles (9.3 km2).

Bethpage is bordered by Plainview to the north, Plainedge to the south, Hicksville to the west, and Bethpage State Park to the east. Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway passes through the neighborhood along the east border. S Oyster Road turns into Steward Avenue as it enters the northwest border then leads towards the south, intersecting with Central Avenue. The S Broadway Road splits into N Wantagh Avenue and Hicksville Road to the south after passing Central Avenue. Railroad Avenue passes the neighborhood diagonally traversing west-east.

The Sterling is a popular banquet hall located at 345 Hicksville Rd. Bethpage is also home to several schools namely Kramer Lane Elementary School, Charles Campagne Elementary, Central Boulevard Elementary School, Bethpage Senior High School, and John F. Kennedy Middle School; House of worship such as Arumdaun Presbyterian Church & Arumdaun Presbyterian Church’s Vision Center which are constructed right next to Bethpage Community Park and Oyster Bay Skatepark, St Martin of Tours RC Church, Bethpage Community Church, King of Kings Ministries, Experience Church @ BAG, St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Abundant Grace Christian Church, Church of Scientology of Long Island, and Masjid Al-Baqi (Muslims On Long Island Inc).

Island Trees Public Library on 38 Farmedge Road and Bethpage Public Library serves Bethpage.

It is served by the Long Island Rail Road station with one train stop within the hamlet, on the corner of Stewart Avenue and Railroad Avenue.
