The Paramount

The Paramount has become one of the top live entertainment venues since it opened on Sept. 30th, 2011. Concerts, comedy, boxing, and other special events are held at The Paramount in Huntington, Long Island, New York. Approximately 200 events are held at the Paramount each year. The Paramount has quickly become the premier live concert destination on Long Island since opening its doors eight years ago.

Billy Joel, Ed Sheeran, Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Steve Miller Band, Judas Priest, Willie Nelson, B.B. King, ZZ Top, Rob Thomas, Steely Dan, John Fogerty, Pitbull, Jewel, Slash, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Michael Bolton, Melissa Etheridge, and many more Grammy-award winning artists have performed at The Paramount. Sebastian Maniscalco, Kevin Hart, Jim Breuer, Whoopi Goldberg, Joan Rivers, Dennis Miller, Steven Wright, Rob Schneider, Weird Al Yankovic, and Frank Caliendo have all appeared in the Paramount Comedy Series.

It offers an opportunity for fans to relive the sounds of their generation, spanning multiple decades and genres, at the Paramount Tribute Series, which regularly hosts the best tribute bands in the country to sell-out crowds. The Paramount, in partnership with Joe DeGuardia’s STAR Boxing, has hosted multiple nationally televised fights as part of its “Rockin’ Fights” series and is the hometown venue of WBO Welterweight Champion – Chris Algieri “The Pride of Huntington”.

Among the legendary artists to perform at the Paramount are Jay Z, Kid Rock, Jack White, Drake, Sting, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. In addition to Madonna’s first concert on Long Island (October 1999), Ozzy Osbourne with Pantera (April 2000), Marilyn Manson on his “Anti-Christ Superstar” tour (Sept. 2000), Dave Chappelle’s debut performance in New York (January 2004) and countless other concerts on our stages over the years.

A variety of comedy series are also broadcast at the Paramount, including those by Judd Apatow for “Funny People,” John Oliver’s standup special “Totally Biased,” Steve Martin & Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life, and Jim Gaffigan’s “Mr. Universe.”.

The Paramount has also hosted blockbuster boxing events, including the heavyweight championship fight of Deontay Wilder and Artur Szpilka in January 2016 with over 13,000 spectators. There were also notable fights between Wladimir Klitschko and Bryant Jennings (November 28, 2015), Ruslan Provodnikov vs John Molina Jr. (December 2013) and Jean-Pascal vs Chad Dawson (April 2011).

The Paramount can accommodate live events in a standing, hybrid or seated configuration in our 1,573-capacity venue that offers a large upper-level dance floor, fixed-side loge-balcony seating, mezzanine seating, and a “Skybar”. The venue’s ambiance and intimacy have amazed bands, their fans, and guests alike – especially the lower level V.I.P. Founder’s Room, styled as a 1920’s speakeasy with private rooms. The Paramount also hosts numerous special events including; weddings, sweet 16’s, bar / bat mitzvahs, fundraisers and corporate rentals.

Located adjacent to the venue lobby, The Paramount features a state-of-the-art radio studio inside the facility. In addition, the venue has a full restaurant with an outdoor patio and is available for catered events. The Paramount also houses a large video screen capable of projecting images from the main stage to the elevated dance floor.

The Paramount is conveniently located at 370 New York Avenue in Huntington, Long Island – accessible by bus or car with abundant free parking. A popular east-west connector through Long Island – Sunrise Highway – can be accessed via two local exits off Northern State Parkway (Exit 48) and Jericho Turnpike / Route 25 (Exit 46). Nearby major roadways include: Long Island Expressway / Route 495, Northern State Parkway / Route 27 and Jericho Turnpike / Route 25.
