New Hyde Park is a village on Long Island, New York, United States, in the Towns of Hempstead and North Hempstead in Nassau County. It is the anchor community of the Greater New Hyde Park area. There is a total land area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2) in the village.

New Hyde Park is located in the Nassau County towns of Hempstead and North Hempstead. The village of New Hyde Park is bordered by Floral Park, Stewart Manor, Garden City Park, and Garden City. It shares the Jericho Turnpike as the main road throughout the village connected to the adjacent villages of Floral Park to the west and Garden City Park to the east; it intersects with the other main roads namely Hillside Boulevard, Covert Avenue and New Hyde Park Road.

Commercial establishments are mostly situated along Jericho Turnpike such as The Inn At New Hyde Park, Umberto’s, Nova Asian Bistro, and Chef Wang. Denton House is known as a historic site after citizens fought for its historic designation. It is now a McDonald’s restaurant also known as the “McDonald’s Mansion”, located at 2045 Jericho Turnpike. Right across is the UFC GYM Long Island. New Hyde Park Memorial Park and New Hyde Park Baptist Church are located in the northeast of the village adjacent next to each other.

The Village of New Hyde Park is served by New Hyde Park Road School and Hillside Public Library.

Long Island Rail Road serves the village bound for Oyster Bay, Port Jefferson Station and Ronkonkoma and has a train station at 165 S 12th St.
