Moriches (/moʊˈrɪtʃɪz/ moh-RITCH-iz) is a hamlet and census-designated place in the Suffolk County town of Brookhaven, New York, United States. Moriches has a total area of 2.3 square miles (5.9 km2), of which 2.0 square miles (5.3 km2) is land and 0.23 square miles (0.6 km2) is covered by water.

Moriches lies south of Manorville, west of Center Moriches, east of Mastic, and north of Narrow Bay. Across to the south is covered by the stretch of Fire Island. Sunrise Highway forms a natural border to the north. Montauk Highway serves as the commercial thoroughfare. Ely Creek flows in from Narrow Bay towards the Montauk Highway between Bay Pointe Drive and James Hawkins Drive.

Notable landmarks include Moriches Sports Complex (which can be accessed by Moriches-Middle Island Road), Crystal Beach (at the southern end of Moriches), Rapid Fire Arena Inc (at 225 Montauk Hwy). Moriches is served by the William Floyd School District. Educational Buildings within the hamlet are Moriches Elementary School and William Floyd Middle School. Food establishments along the commercial strip in Montauk Highway include La Buena Vida Spanish Restaurant, Bernie’s Family Pizzeria, Greek Bites Grill & Cafe, and Moriches bay diner.
