Lake Grove is a village in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York. The village has a total area of 3.0 square miles. To the north of the village is St. James, to the east is Centereach, to the south is Lake Ronkonkoma, and to the west is the Village of the Branch.

The main roads of Lake Grove are the Smithtown Bypass and Middle Country Road, wherein Smithtown Bypass forms a border to the north and Middle Country Road passes almost straight through the middle of the village exiting to Centereach. Stony Brook Road turns to Hawkins Avenue as it passes Middle Country Road, it travels north-south. Pond Path branches out from Stony Brook Road and travels towards the northeast exiting to Nicolls Road.

Lake Grove is home to roughly half of the Smith Haven Mall’s property. Along Middle Country Road is where a popular amusement center namely Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park is located. Other local businesses along Middle Country Road are the Miller’s Ale House, Good Steer, and Village Idiot Pub. Robert J. Henke Nature Preserve Passive Park on Pond Path is the lone park of the village. Cayuga Elementary School to the south of Hawkins Avenue is the lone school serving the village.

Lake Grove is served by three school districts: Sachem Central School District in the southern section, Middle Country Central School District in the middle and northern sections, and Three Village Central School District in the northeastern section.
