Islandia Suffolk

Islandia is an incorporated village in Suffolk County, New York, United States, on Long Island. Islandia straddles the Long Island Expressway and is near the geographic center of Long Island. The village has a total area of 2.2 square miles.

To the west is the village of Central Islip, Hauppauge to the north, Ronkonkoma to the east, and Bohemia to the south. Veterans Memorial Highway runs northwest to the south and intersects with Long Island Expressway. East Suffolk Avenue turns to Old Nichols Road and heads towards northeast from the southwest. Long Island Motor Parkway or Motor Parkway forms a natural border to the north.

Lakeland County Park occupies the southeast area and is the sole park within the village. Honeysuckle Pond, in Suffolk County’s Lakeland Park, lies within the confines of the Village and should therefore be included in its geographic makeup. Veterans Memorial Highway serves as the main commercial thoroughfare where establishments such as Islandia Shopping Center, Dave & Buster’s, Mugi Sushi Hibachi And Bar, Hampton Inn Long Island/Islandia, and TGI Fridays, to name a few, is located. Health care centers occupy the northwest area of the village namely, ENT and Allergy Associates – Hauppauge and Cohen Children’s Northwell Health General Pediatrics at Islandia. Andrew T Morrow School at 299 Sycamore Lane is the only place of education serving the village.
