On the North Shore of Long Island, Huntington Bay is an affluent village in Suffolk County, New York. Huntington Bay is located within the town of Huntington. It has a total area of 1.9 square miles (4.9 km2), of which 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2) is land and 0.89 square miles (2.3 km2), or 47.32%, is water.

The village sits midway between the town of Huntington at the south and the Huntington Sound facing the north. At the western end of the village is the Huntington Harbor. The village’s nearest main road is about 550 miles outside of the south border namely Cove Rd.

Crescent Beach Town Park is the only park in the village that is situated northeast of Huntington Bay, close to Knollwood Beach and Crescent Beach. Nathan Hale Spy Mission Departure Point is also the lone historical landmark and located at Vineyard Rd & Bay Rd. The Huntington Bay Village Office sits in the middle of the village at 244 Vineyard Rd which meets Cove Rd about 840 miles south.
